С обычной флешкой не получится. Флешка должна быть с загрузочным сектором, не знаю как это правильно называется, я покупал свою для 450 в мск, а потом туда самостоятельно заливал прошивки.
У тебя копир или принтер? Ты бы сказал что привело к этой ошибке. На 450 можно восстановиться из NVrama. На 250 по аналогии думаю тоже. У меня сервис-мануала на твой принтер нет.

для 450 (для копира, у принтера другая процедура):
When NVRAM data error is detected, restoring the backup data from Flash ROM on MFPC board is possible with the following procedure.
1. When NVRAM Data error detected, the error code displayed. （Error Code: C-D3xx）
2. Press [Stop] > [0] > [7] > [1] > [3] > [9].[*] will be shown on the control panel.
3. By pressing[*], the data restore can be initiated. Restoring data will takes very short time, you may no see the screen below.
4. When restore is finished, the control panel displays the message to turn off the Main SW.
5. Turn off the Main Power switch and Turn ON.
When restore failed, the trouble code shown again.
In any trouble detected, you can bring[*] onto the control panel, but the actual restore is only possible when NVRAM data error detected.
